Bio:

Dieter Alb began taking pictures for a photography class while studying graphic design at Galileo University in Guatemala. When his God-given eye for photography was discovered by a professor, he was encouraged to continue developing his gift. He recieved his first camera and lenses as a gift from an American visiting on a mission trip to Guatemala. Since that time, he has been using his camera to record the memories, sights, and sounds of God's creation in Guatemala. Working as a missionary, translator, and "jack-of-all-trades" for Medical Missions Ministries Guatemala (mmm-guatemala.com) has given him the opportunity to photograph different cultures, people, and scenery throughout his country. He uses his pictures as his way of displaying the beauty of God's creation to the rest of the world. Now beginning his transition from amateur to self-taught professional phographer. Dieter is looking for any and every opportunity to further develop his skill and network with other photographers. His creative eye combined with his love of computers, music, and technology provide him with unique opportunities to create wonderful works of art from the simplest image. Currently, Dieter is working as a free-lance photographer, at MMM-Guatemala, and as an audio technician for the youth service at his church. Dieter is planning on moving to the United States in 2010 to begin his life and career with his future wife, Jennifer.
